I agree – his work was brought to my attention some years ago by Roy Keys, Editor of Apeiron, and I recall that it was a valid theory as far as I could judge at the time. Maybe it it is time to go back and have another look at it.

David Saunders brought this to our attention. Harold Aspden seems to tackle the same problems for which ECE theory offers a consistent solution now, including the energy problem.

Dear Horst,

As I mentioned on the phone just now, I recently came across Dr   Harold Aspden’s websites at www.aspden.org and www.aspden.org.uk.   While (as ever) my 40-some years out-of-date university physics means   I’m in no position to evaluate his science, it looks as though he is   saying very practical and sensible things that challenge the current   model — which confirms, aligns with, and in some cases predates ECE   Theory.

This includes the energy source of the sun (http://www.aspden.org.uk/ sunenergy.htm), galactic rotation, and new energy sources, and more   (http://www.aspden.org.uk/problems.html). He makes interesting   quantitative observations and confirmations about several fundamental   constants, as well as the sun’s temperature and relative abundance of   various isotopes and the proton itself. To me, a lot of his work   looks simple and elegant.

But he regards new energy as the most pressing issue (http:// www.aspden.org.uk/2.htm) and cites what may well be the earliest   device patented, a mere 136 years ago in 1887 — which looks to me a   whole lot like a simplified version of Hans Coler’s six coil device,   reduced to the minimum of 2 — see http://www.aspden.org.uk/3.html

It kind of makes you wonder what we’re still doing messing with   petroleum and the like. Anyway, my gut feel is that Aspden’s work and   Myron’s have to be complementary, and that the more people blazing   away at the standard model, and forging ahead on new ideas, the   better…

I’ve written to Aspden and hope to visit him and make friends before   he gets too much older…  ;-)

David
