This can be translated from .wpd (Wordperfect)  to .doc or pdf by Adrian or Horst and can be used by Francesco as the beginning of the script for the second film, “The Life of Myron Evans”, due to start filming later this month. The doc file can be taken in toto and used by Kerry as the needed introduction to his excellent biography. It was compiled with the invaluable help of Mr Dewi Lewis of CLydach, whose wife is a Havard cousin of mine, and also serves as an accurate brief overview of the conditions of the rural poor in South Wales in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. If any reader can help trace Morgan Havard (born Penderyn 1811) backwards in time towards Sir Walter Havard, eleventh century Lord of Pontgwilym, Brecon, it would be much appreciated. I know that there is a Havard family forum which could organize a Y chromosome DNA analysis. This will probably show that all Havard males in South Wales have the same Y chromosome, that of Sir Walter Havard, a Norwegian or Danish Y chromosome. We will add to this history as facts come to light. Many thanks to Mr Dewi Lewis. Most computers are able to translate automatically from wpd (Wordperfect) to doc.
