Many thanks for the quick reply. For my personal standard here at home I would be grateful for a quote for an outside personal standard with a flagpole that can be attached by a bracket to a wall (i.e. L shaped), and fittings. Also a similar quote for the dragon rouge rampant (the Tudor flag, i.e. the Welsh National standard, red dragon rampant on field white and green) with a similar L shaped pole and fittings. The MEU may in future require its own standards of various types. However that would be a matter for the future. If the L shaped or all fitted poles are not available then standard vertical pole plus fittings to raise and lower the standards would be fine.

Professor, good afternoon.

Please specify if you would like a quote for an exterior flag, a ceremonial parade standard or an interior hanging banner.

Kind regards,

I am interested in the manufacture of my personal standard, also planned with my consent to be a University standard.a University of which I will be the Rector. I attach a high quality digital image of my armorial bearings, granted on 7th July 2008 (recorded in Burke’s Peerage and Gentry 2009). Is it traditional to use only the shield for a personal standard, or the complete coat of arms (shield, motto, and crest)? I see that your standards can be of both types. As a matter of interest are you related to the family of Sir Isaac Newton of Woolsthorpe? I was also granted a Heraldic Badge on 7th July 2008, and I wonder whether a Badge appears on a standard, or on items of clothing, notepaper and so forth. I will send over a high quality digital image of the badge in the next e mail.
