The combined total of files downloaded for the past twelve months, May08 to Apr09 is 2,684,740. For _www.aias.us_ (http://www.aias.us) it is 788,203 and for _www.atomicprecision.com_ (http://www.atomicprecision.com) it is 1,899,537. This is astounding for heavy theoretical physics sites, and it makes me think that the two sites should be a made a permanent feature of the physics landscape for scholarly historical purposes. So I propose setting up a Trust for this purpose. This Trust could initially be taken under the aegis of AIAS in Boise, Idaho for example, which is a not for profit organization. The idea is to ensure that the two websites act as a permanent library, permanently visible and freely available to scholars around the world. One could alternatively ask the Library of Congress and the National Library of Wales to act as Trustees, and perhaps the Bodleian at Oxford and the Clark Library at Cornell. I will make some enquiries towards this end.
