Many thanks! These are insightful remarks as usual by GJE. I agree that no one really believes in indeterminacy, and that the idea is counter to physics itself. There is a lot of harmful peer pressure in science, and because there are so many scientists now, the pressure is amplified. The idea of science is to build a simple and objective explanation of the natural world. It is not a party political manifesto. So I am most grateful as usual to GJE for this helpful summary. We were both students of Mansel Davies at Aberystwyth and he was a rigorous Baconian scientist.

You have completed a lot of fantastic work Myron but I believe, that over the course of time, this will become to be seen as your most important contribution (and the most significant result of ECE theory). It goes to the heart of the problems that have plagued physics and limited progress for almost 100 years. It removes the most important paradoxes, inconsistencies etc. It reintroduces objectivity and physical reality and very demonstrable brings together the microscopic and macroscopic worlds.

Unfortunately for the established view it demonstrates how nonsensical some ideas had become. We were taught, and have believed, science that was wrong and far removed from reality – meta-physics, pseudoscience (call it what you will).

Dirac and Einstein were both aware of the true situation but were not able to take physics foreward in the way they knew it had to be. They were, however, good, honorable and objective scientists in the true (and largely forgotten) sense and were strong and just enough to accept the flaws that existed.

Dirac’s work has become distorted and developed in ways that he probably never intended. Einstein has been attacked for decades by scientists who struggled with the same problems (and actually had no better answers). He spent a lot of his life trying to resolve the problems. This was not wasted effort, this is the proper way of science (and was logically in the right direction). But, as we can now see, he did not have the necessary insight and means to achieve the goal.

Best, Gareth

Subject: Writing up Paper 130

I will proceed to writing up paper 130 now, on the new ECE free fermion equation which disposes with the need for Dirac algebra. The latter is certainly too complicated in structure and the free fermion special relativistic quantum mechanics can be worked out entirely in terms of 2 x 2 matrices. For about 85 years, this has been thought to be impossible. The new ECE fermion equation is of course part of the new generally covariant unified field theory, which is attracting a great amount of interest worldwide, and has been for six years by now. The ECE free fermion equation is just a simple factorization of the Einstein energy equation of special relativity, from which the famous E0 = m c squared emerges in the rest fermion limit. There is no negative energy problem if common sense is used and negative energy rejected on the classical level so that it does not complicate the quantization. This research should open up a new era fo physics where the interaction of the fermion with fields such as gravitation can be worked out. Gravitation requires a spacetime with torsion. That is also a major advance of ECE theory and of AIAS / TGA members.
