The new potential antisymmetry laws of paper 131 lead to a complete collapse of U(1) sector symmetry, leaving the ECE electrodynamics as the only one that is compatible with the fundamental commutator method. The antisymmetry laws mean that the scalar and vector potentials are inter-related, and curl A is zero. The scalar potential can have only a time dependence, so del phi is zero. This means that the U(1) static electric field E = – del phi is zero, and the U(1) magnetic field B = curl A is zero. The electric and magnetic fields are therefore E = E(0) omega sub E B = B(0) omega sub B and are therefore direct manifestations of the spin connection omega. The electric field and the magnetic field are therefore entities not of special relativity, but of general relativity. This further strengthens the theory of general relativity.
