Australian Parliament Votes against Kyoto

Senator Stephen Fielding sent me an e mail message to say that the Australian Parliament has voted against Kyoto. This is an important move in the right direction. It is well known that carbon dioxide is not a source of runaway global warming. Incorrect boundary conditions were used to solve the Eddington equations of 1916, and the computers gave a false result. The data show that there is global cooling, and there has been for five years. The coal industry is of paramount importance for Australia, and also for Wales, and until sources of new energy can be discovered, coal is of key importance as oil runs out. The US and Britain should pull out of Kyoto and maintain a high level of defensive readiness because Kyoto undermines the democratic freedoms safeguarded by these countries and none other. Research into new forms of energy, and into conservation, is of course urgently required.
